1、 Plastic mold printing
There are several methods to print characters or patterns on the surface of plastic products.
1. Plastic mold screen printing
This method is common and commonly used; It is generally suitable for flat or curved printing.
2. Plastic mold curved surface printing
The principle of surface printing
Curved surface printing is the process of first placing ink into a gravure with engraved text or patterns, then copying the text or patterns onto a curved surface, and then using the curved surface to transfer the text or patterns onto the surface of the molded product. Finally, the ink is cured through heat treatment or ultraviolet light irradiation.
Curved surface printing process:
A. Degreasing of formed products
B. Surface treatment of formed products (if necessary)
C. Printing
D. Curing treatment of ink
E. Post treatment such as excessive coating (if necessary)
Printing process
A. Put the ink into the gravure plate
B. Scrape off excess ink
C. Squeeze the curved surface to obtain ink
D. Transfer the ink from the curved surface to the surface of the molded product
E. Clean surfaces and layouts (if necessary)
Transfer printing
First, the pattern or pattern is printed on the rubber plate or roller, and then the rubber plate or roller transfers the pattern or pattern onto the surface of the beer.
Advantages: Can apply several colors in one operation.
Disadvantages: Low productivity and inability to obtain strong opaque marks. How to choose the appropriate rubber plate or roller and oil quantity first.
3. Plastic mold hot stamping
The method of manufacturing embossed patterns or fonts on the surface of beer parts using colored foil and hot molds engraved with patterns or fonts, under controlled temperature and pressure. The operation only requires applying pressure to the required area of the product through the colored foil using a hot mold installed on a fixed press.
2、 Plastic mold spray painting
The commonly used methods for surface treatment (color) of plastic products can be divided into:
A. Ordinary coloring, which refers to the use of manual spraying for this type of paint, does not have strong friction resistance and is prone to paint peeling.
B. PU grade varnish is a method of achieving friction resistance and glossiness by spraying a layer of PU varnish on the surface after the primer is sprayed and dried. Many ordinary household appliances or daily necessities have their surfaces treated with PU.
C. UV grade varnish: After spraying the primer, another layer of UV varnish is sprayed on the surface, achieving ideal results in glossiness, texture, and friction resistance. This processing method is commonly used in mobile phone mold products and communication mold products.
4、 Electroplating of plastic molds
Electroplating is the process of using electrolysis to deposit metal or alloy on the surface of a workpiece, forming a uniform, dense, and well bonded metal layer, which is called electroplating. In simple understanding, it is a change or combination of physics and chemistry.
Usage:
a. Anti corrosion
b. Protective decoration
c. Wear resistance
d. Electrical performance: Provide a coating with conductive or insulating properties according to the working requirements of the parts.
e. Process requirements

The process of using electrolysis to form a uniform, dense, and well bonded metal or alloy deposition layer on the surface of a workpiece is relatively complicated, but it has many advantages, such as the variety of deposited metal types, the variety of colors that can be obtained, and the lower price compared to similar processes.
